21-Year-Old Marries Zombie Doll She Found on the Internet - Says Relationship is "Normal" and "Intimate"

Marriage isn’t just for a man and women anymore, and no, we’re not talking about the long overdue legalisation of gay marriage.

These days, a man can wed a 3D hologram, and a woman can settle down with a pirate ghost from the 18th century.

But just when you thought love was dead, a woman in Massachusetts goes ahead and marries a zombie doll without a mouth.

Yes, you read right.

Felicity Kadlec married the doll in September, after a five year “intimate” relationship.

Taking place in Tiverton, Rhode Island, the ceremony cost £388 and included Felicity’s friends and family, along with her eight other zombie dolls.

The 21-year-old was gifted “Kelly” as a birthday present at the age of 13, after spotting her on a creepy doll website. But it was three years before the pair fell in love.

“It wasn’t until I was 16-years-old that I started to get feelings for her, but it was something that I kept on trying to deny.

“Our relationship was on and off since I was 16, because I would tell myself that it was wrong and break it off.”

The teen would caress the doll, and says she felt safe in her presence. However, her family were unsurprisingly against their relationship, and would prevent Felicity from taking the doll out in public.

But Felicity and Kelly beat the odds – the couple even have each other’s names tattooed on their arms.

Although Felicity has had boyfriends in the past, few were able to understand her attachment to Kelly. However, the pair seem to have an open relationship – at least according to Felicity’s Facebook profile.

Posting photographs of their wedding to the social network, Felicity and 37-year-old Kelly were photographed sharing a kiss – Felicity in a traditional white wedding dress, and Kelly in a snappy suit.

Love conquers all, we guess?
