Belarussian president Alexander Lukashenko has got a lot of people naked, and he’s got a lot of explain to do. Or does he?
Lukashenko, 61, was making a speech earlier this week about new technology in the workplace. A slip of the tongue made the last European dictator’s speech take a rather unexpected turn. An excerpt of the speech goes:
Innovations, IT-technologies, privatisation – it is all clear. We’ve conquered all of them. But everything is very simply, one should get undressed and work.
It is still unclear whether it was a Freudian slip of the tongue or not.
So #getnakedandgotowork is now a very real thing, with Belarussians stripping to their birthday suits and going about their daily business.
Oh, just a normal day at the office, doing office things.

We’re no experts on the Russian language, but we have a feeling President Lukashenko meant to say “develop themselves”. We hear it sounds terribly similar to “get undressed”. Hmm, maybe it’s time for the president to brush up on his pronunciation.
