Donald Trump to Host Saturday Night Live in November

The controversial Republican frontrunner will once again host the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live on November 7.

Oh boy, this should go over well. Republican frontrunner and professional media troll Donald Trump will be hosting Saturday Night Live‘s November 7th show. The controversial presidential candidate has made quite a splash in politics this year after making one outrageous statement after the other and capturing the hearts and minds of thousands of voters looking for something different than the status-quo.

Mr. Trump is certainly a different kind of politician. But this isn’t his first foray into the world of sketch comedy. Trump actually hosted the show back in 2004, back when he was just a reality TV star and casino mogul, and before his political aspirations were made known. After watching clips from the 2004 show, it doesn’t seem Mr. Trump has changed much.

“It’s good to be here on Saturday Night Live,” Trump said at the open of his 2004 appearance, “but let’s face it, it’s better for Saturday Night Live to have me here.”

He want on to brag:

“After just one season, I am about to become the highest-paid television personality in America, and as everyone in this room knows, ‘highest-paid’ means ‘best.'”

Will Trump poke fun at himself and his many antics during the campaign season? Or will he remain “in character” as the self-absorbed, confident, swaggering business mogul that made him such a prominent figure in popular culture? We’ll just have to tune in on November 7 to find out.
