As 2016 winds downs, everyone is taking a look back at one heck of a year. Twitter released a collection of the year’s top social media moments. #ThisHappened definitely reminds us that 2016 was a year to remember. A few bizarre moments seemed to capture Twitter’s heart.

Beyonce’s Lemonade

Queen Bey blew up social media (and pop culture) with her release of Lemonade. Tons of users teeeted their reaction to the album and plenty of remarks about Becky with good hair.

However, one Spanish gamer stole the lemonade show with a single worded tweet.

Harry Styles Throwing Shade

On his 22nd birthday, the boy band hearthrob tweeted out the celebration. However, many speculated that he was throwing some shade out to his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Of course, there were plenty of tweets about the historic and crazy presidential campaign. We won’t get into that can of worms.

Then, there were heartfelt serious moments. Like the hopeful tweet from Hillary Clinton after conceding the campaign to the now president-elect Donald Trump.

However, CNet reports that as huge of a social media storm that was made by the presidential campaign, it came in second to another major event: the Rio Olympics.

Thrn, there was a little game released called Pokemon Go that made the entire world lose their marbles. Seriously, like jump out of your car in the middle of the road and run into a field crazy…
