Youtube superstar PewDiePie may be known for his hilarious comedy vlogs, but the Swedish vlogger is making some serious claims after Youtube made some serious site changes. Also known by his real name, Felix Kjellberg, PewDiePie has around 49 million subscribers to his popular Youtube channel. However, he is vowing to start all over again if one thing happens.
Check out his claims in the video below. Warning: PewDiePie is known for cursing… alot. You might want to turn down the speakers if you are at work or a public place.
In his latest video uploaded this week, Kjellberg explained that if he reached 50 million subscribers he would delete his current channel and start a completely new one.
According to the Mirror, PewDiePie is upset “because of changes YouTube is making that push overtly clickbaity videos towards users rather than the channels they’ve actively subscribed to.”
The popular vlogger went on to say “videos that have nothing to do with personality, has nothing to do with content, just has a really great title and a really great thumbnail.”
“YouTube is trying to kill my channel. It is clear. It is happening if you watch my analytics. It is all going down,” said Kjellberg. “I’ve decided the only way to stop my channel from dying – I know you are going to think I am joking – but I am going to delete my channel.”

Of course, this comes the guy that made an estimated $15 million (£12 million) from Youtube last year and once was employed by the company.

Soon after the video went viral, Kjellberg announced that he was in contact with Youtube and they were addressing the situation. The Mirror reported that Youtube responded to concerns about the issue.
“Some creators have expressed concerns around a drop in their subscriber numbers,” wrote The Mirror. “We’ve done an extensive review and found there have been no decreases in creators subscriber numbers beyond what normally happens when viewers either unsubscribe from a creator’s channel or when YouTube removes spammed subscribers.
