Twitter gets pretty excited about certain things. Game Of Thrones, the World Cup, Reading Rainbow, Justin Bieber… Well, you can add The Magic School Bus to that list. Twitter went nuts after Netflix announced that it was bringing the classic kids show back for 26 more episodes.

The new show, called Magic School Bus 360, will debut on Netflix sometime in 2016.

The NY Times reports that Netflix acquired the rights to several Scholastic series last year. They currently own the rights to shows Goosebumps,  and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Ted Sarandos, the company’s chief content officer, said that The Magic School Bus is currently one of Netflix’s most popular kids program.

Sarandos said: “It teaches science in a way that transcends generations … Parents trust it and kids love it.”

Netflix hasn’t revealed too much about the new series but the company did say that it will air 26 new half hour episodes. It’s unclear if Lily Tomlin, who voiced Mrs. Frizzle in the original show, will be returning for The Magic School Bus 360,  but that doesn’t mean that Twitter isn’t excited.

Are you excited to ride The Magic School Bus again? Here’s a look at the classic kids show.

It’s been a big month for nostalgic kids shows. In addition to new episodes of The Magic School Bus, Levar Burton recently announced that he’s bringing back Reading Rainbow.
