Michelle Obama, the FLOTUS with the most-est, officially joined Instagram on Thursday with a photo and a video from her Senegal trip. We promise we’re not going to get all political on you in this post. Frankly, we’re just happy her first post wasn’t a picture of her lunch.

“OMG soooo good #senegal #YOLO”

Anyway, Michelle’s first Instagram post was a photo of her posting with daughter Malia and a few other young ladies.

“My first instagram! So inspired and so impressed by these extraordinary young women,” she captioned the photo.

After the photo, Michelle posted a video of female middle school students dancing at a school in Dakar, an apparent welcome ceremony. She has since published a few more photos from her trip and at least one other video as of this posting.

And if you were afraid that Michelle is just going to be a boring grown-up with this whole Instagram thing, a photo of the ominous “Door of No Return” on Goree Island tells me she’s catching on pretty quick.

A touch of Brannan and she’ll fit riiight in.
