Hey, Mountain Dew, did you see that coming? Neither did we.
There are trolls who mess with your head and your patience, and then there are trolls who eventually stop being trolls just end up being that buddy you hang around when you’re buzzed or high.
Take this exchange between Twitter user Joe Veix and Mountain Dew Pitch Black. We tried looking for the original tweets, but it seems they’re all gone, Luckily, @OneTrickTofani managed to capture evidence for us:

These are pretty much a lot of images to scroll through, so allow us to make life easier for y’all right here.
Our anti-hero first starts off dissing the fashionistas experimenting on their hair with the tasty beverage in the hashtag #dewdye:
Dude, that was kinda harsh, don’tcha think? So Mountain Dew Pitch Black shot one right back at him.
Good job, Mountain Dew Pitch Black, for keeping on the high road. Joe continues to annoy MTPB by being the stubborn troll he is for a little while, and then… things slowly change.
No one, least of all these to, had any idea it was going to turn into this feels-fest.
BOOM. Right in the feels.
It’s kinda rare to end up in places like this, and we commend these two for having the virtual guts to bring us there. To this, we’d like to quote something fitting from M. Gustave of “The Grand Hotel Budapest:
“Rudeness is merely an expression of fear. People fear they won’t get what they want. The most dreadful and unattractive person only needs to be loved, and they will open up like a flower.”
Who, just in case, also had this to say about good people at the advent of the “Nazi” occupation:
“You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that’s what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant… oh, f*ck it.”
