Landmarks All Over the US Go Purple For Prince

The world still mourns the passing of one of the most influential, prolific, and beloved icons of the music industry, Prince. Doves (and humans) cried, and while purple rain may not have fallen from the heavens, certain landscapes across the United states turned on the Purple lights to nor the timeless singer-songwriter.

Bridges in Minnesota, Prince’s home state, were lit up in purple in his honor and memory.

City halls across Baltimore, Los Anegles, and San Francisco also turned purple to mourn the passing of a legend.

And soon, more buildings began to follow suit and express their deep sorrow through hues of purple.

Good night, sweet Prince. May angels sing thee to thy rest.
