Throughout the course of human history, there have always been certain dilemmas which have plagued humanity and even created a divide. Right-wing or Left-wing?, Jesus or Muhammad?, Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera?, and of course, Ketchup or Mayo? A few people have come up with solutions for such a divide, but Heinz is different. They took the bull by the horns and came up with… mayochup.

It sounds like a bad name for a Pokemon but make no mistake, it will fix the two warring sides of the condiment industry. Now, mayochup is available in the U.S. after popular demand, and the world became a slightly better place because of that alone. Well, actually, Heinz mayochup has been available in other countries long before in the U.S., particularly in the Middle Eastern countries.

So someone from the Middle East posted a photo of their local Heinz mayochup and the U.S. saw it. They wanted their own mayochup as usual, one more thing to add to the Western list of “need-to-haves” in the Middle East. So once the oil– sorry, mayochup was spotted, people have been asking Heinz when will the U.S. receive it. Then the condiment company did a poll and 500,000 Americans responded that they wanted it badly.

So keep watch for the famed mayochup in U.S. groceries since Heinz will be rolling out the hybrid soon. Oh, and if you’ve been living under a rock, mayochup is essentially just a combination of ketchup and mayo. The right amount of each portion is hard to balance, hence making your own mayochup can be tricky. But hey, thanks to Heinz, you need only squeeze a bottle to have it, no more dilemmas.
