Well, JJ Abrams, the ball is in your court now. Two men from the UK have launched a X-Wing into orbit. The professed Star Wars fans decided they wanted to take pictures of outer space and capture the attention of the director who was in charge with the newest productions of the Star Wars franchise.
Project Helium Tears is the latest experiment from the Essex Space Agency- the brainchild of UK men, Matt Kingsnorth and Phil St. Pier. The project serves to photograph Earth’s outer atmospheres, but the men decided to take it a little farther: get the attention of Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ director, JJ Abrams. Armed with helium balloons and GoPro cameras, the men have succeeded in getting those space photos, but still have yet to capture Hollywood’s attention.
Using #HeyJJ, the men announced to Twitter and JJ Abrams that their mission was successful and asked for an invite to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere.
#HeyJJ @Bad_Robot We just put an X-Wing in Space! Can we come to the Force Awakens première? https://t.co/Y0L31Pyriz

While their actions have gone viral, still no response from the Star Wars director.
