Google+ Link Shares Get Major Facelift

Google+ recently updated its Android app with photo-heavy features, and today the social network is giving link shares on the web a complete redesign.

Pictured above, it’s a major departure from the previous design:

Similar to Facebook’s News Feed update back in September 2013, images are significantly larger and titles are more pronounced.

We have to receive an official statement from Google, but other pages such as The Verge and some Google+ users already have the new link share design.

The change appears to only apply to newly posted links, though as it continues to roll out to more Google+ users, we could see older links get the facelift as well.
