Glassdoor.com Releases The Top 25 Highest Paying Jobs In America

These are America's top 25 highest paying jobs according to the website Glassdoor.com

Glassdoor, one of the most reputable job websites, has released their list of the top 25 highest paying jobs in America. The site was founded in 2007 by Robert Hohman, who started at Microsoft, is now valued at over $1 billion. Glassdoor is known for its employee reviews where current and past employees post their salaries and their experiences working for companies. Hohman said in a Forbes interview that he got the idea for the site from playing World of Warcraft and realizing the importance of communities and the lack of a unified community in the job-searching market.

The site does a great job weeding out false reviews posted by companies and honoring reviews that portray an accurate description of the company. Glassdoor makes most of their money from ad space.

The list of the top 25 highest paying jobs in America probably won’t surprise you, but it is interesting to see how important techie jobs are in this economy. Number one is physician and number two is lawyer. Of course, it’s important to remember that these statistics are based on the reviews and reporting of individuals. In reality, CEOs and professional athletes might make a lot more than lawyers and physicians, but they don’t really need to write reviews on Glassdoor. The rest of the list plays out pretty simply.
