“Female Military Personnel Should Expect Sexual Harrassment” Claims Wife of White House’s New Comms Director

You know what’s worse than a sexist man? A sexist woman. It’s painful to hear a woman taking arms against her own gender (seriously, what about the sisterhood?), especially when that woman is close to the White House.

A recording has been uncovered of Darla Shine, the wife of Trump’s new communications director Bill Shine, mocking victims of sexual harassment in the military. Shine, who has previously described herself as “sexist,” made the disturbing comments on her radio show almost 10 years ago.

The author of ‘Happy Housewives’ also purportedly made racially charged statements and shared a host of conspiracy theories on Twitter (including one about sunblock), before deleting her account.

On her radio show in 2009, Shine declared that women in the military should assume they’d be harrassed by men, saying: “Why on earth would you fight to go on the submarine ship for months on end? You know there was just a story with these girls, these women who are upset that they are sexually harassed in the military.

“What do you think is going to happen when you go on a submarine for 12 months with 4,000 horny soldiers?”

Shine then suggested that perhaps women shouldn’t be in the military to begin with, before calling feminists “stupid.”

On a 2007 podcast, Shine also claimed that women shouldn’t enter politics because “because we are hormonal crazy b*tches.”

“It’s true, and once a month the moon aligns with our uteruses or something and we get crazy,” Shine said.

Bill Shine was fired from Fox News in 2016 over his own handling of sexual harrassment cases at the network.
