While Google+ may have attracted 25+ million users during the first month of existence, Facebook is still the reigning champion of social media with more than 750 million active users. However, the two platforms are vastly different in who they serve, for example 58.95% of users at Google+ work in software development or engineering, while Facebook is full of high school students, college students and even moms and dads.
The team atSingle Grainwanted to show how Google is performing against Google and they’ve created the infographic shown below which illustrates for example how Friends management, Chat, Privacy and other settings differentiate themselves on both platforms.
In terms of sheer technology I personally have to give it up for Google+ although I still check Facebook far more due to the sheer number of friends I have on the FB network.
