One beauty blogger became an overnight sensation after posting a video makeover of her 80-year-old grandmother. Tea Flego is a Croatian make-up artist and with about 60,000 Instagram followers, she wasn’t entirely unknown before her recent virality.
Flego’s video shows her contouring her grandmother’s face and the results are outstanding.

More than 82,000 people have like the video and it has been reposted on several reputable beauty blogs, such as vlogger Huda Kattan’s Instagram. As Flego and her grandmother, now affectionately known as ‘Glam-Ma,’ are adjusting to being Internet stars, Flego explains that they both bond over their love of makeup.
“My Granny was always my model,” says Flego, who posts her work to her 60,000 Instagram followers on her account Make-Up By Tea Flego. “As I was growing up it was clear that I would be a make-up artist. She always loved make-up so it was not a problem for her [to be my model].”
And it seems everyone else loves their work too.
“The first video I published on Facebook was a hit; people there loved her and the transformation,” says Flego. “My friends asked me to open the Instagram page, so I could show the world.”
‘Glam-Ma,’ also known by her birth name Livia, lives in a nursing home. She enjoys spending time with her large family, which consists of five children, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Flego explains that she is loving all of the attention over her makeover.

“She said that she is proof that it is never too late to be famous, and the small place you come from is not important,” says Flego. “Every day I tell her where she was published and she can’t believe it. She is enjoying her popularity and says: ‘How beautiful it is to travel the whole world and not to set a step away from my nursing home.'”
It isn’t surprising that Flego is finding herself flooded with clients, many of them are older women, friends of ‘Glam-ma.’ Flego explains it takes special skills to have certain results.
“Her transformation is really enormous,” says Flego. “With a few skills and good contours, you can make a miracle. Blurring wrinkles is her favourite part of make-up, and for me is the hardest one. Drawing eyebrows, which she doesn’t have, we completed successfully too.”
