Congratulations Zooey Deschanel! This is quite a year for celebrity pregnancy announcements and new babies welcomed into the world.

The New Girl star announced to People that she and boyfriend, Jacob Pechenik, are expecting a baby in the summer time. Jacob, 42, and Z0oey, 34, are thrilled to become parents.

“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one.”

Emily Deschanel, Zooey’s sister, is expecting her second child with husband David Hornsby. The Bones actress will be an aunt and a new mommy in one year! Looks like the Deschanel family is growing faster than anyone expected.
