Dating can be hard, even more so these days despite the numerous dating websites. While those websites or apps increase your pool of potential dates, that said pool can also include creeps and other people which make modern dating scary. This is what happened to one man who got sent hundreds of thousands of text messages from his obsessed date.

The said obsessed date is named Jacqueline Ades. According to the police documents obtained by the Arizona Republic, Ades and her date met in an online dating website for millionaires, called Luxy. They went only on one date and it seems the man decided not to pursue the prospect. Ades, on the other hand, was head over heels infatuated right away.

So, in the span of 10 months since their first and only date, Ades sent the man 159,000 text messages. That number was based on the accusations of her date, who was a CEO of a skincare products company. The original accusation was 65,000 text messages but turned out to be a lot more than that.

The straw that broke the camel’s back for the anonymous CEO was when Ades parked outside his home. He called the police on her and this prompted Ades to send some threatening texts such as, “I’d wear ur [your] fascia n [and] the top o [of] fur skull n ur hands n feet,” as well as, “I’d make sushi outta ur kidneys and chopsticks outta ur hand bones.”

Pretty Hannibal, right? Oh, that’s not all, Ades also said to him, “Oh what would I do with your blood! I’d wanna bathe in it.” However, Ades was only arrested after the CEO’s home surveillance footage showed her literally bathing in his bathtub while he was away on a trip. After the police picked her up, they also discovered a large butcher knife in her car.

Ades was charged with stalking and criminal trespassing but she pleaded not guilty to them. She did feel a moment of epiphany with what she just did and said, “No, I don’t think anything I say is normal. I understand now. It’s OK if that’s how (he) feels. Somebody else should love him. He has so much to love. He’s so cute. I can’t believe I scared him.” Yeah, totally not creepy.
