Tumblr Finally Adds Ability To Mention Other Users

Tumblr is kicking off 2014 with a brand new feature, and is finally rolling out the ability for users to mention others directly in posts.

Working similarly to Twitter or Facebook, to mention a user, simply type in the @ symbol, followed by the person’s name.

When a user is mentioned, they’ll see a notification on their Tumblr dashboard, and under the “Activity” page.
