Former Saturday Night Live star, Tracy Morgan, was rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning and is in intensive care after a 6-vehicle car accident in New Jersey. Morgan’s limo was completely overturned at the New Jersey turnpike, authorities said.
The 30 Rock star was returning from a tour date in Delaware after performing stand-up when he was involved in the collision including two tractor trailers, a bus, an SUV, and two cars. At least one person was killed.
The man who passed was identified as James McNair, 63, who was riding in Morgan’s limo.
In a statement released Saturday, Morgan’s representative, Lewis Kay, wrote: “Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. … His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today.” (Buzzfeed reported)
Sgt. Gregory Williams said he does not believe alcohol to be involved at this time but it is under investigation.
Social media sites have been relaying all the news and wishing his a fast and healthy recovery.
