Did the New England Patriots use deflated football in order to gain an advantage over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game? Maybe. Probably not. The NFL did open an investigation into #DeflateGate this morning.

We don’t know if there’s any truth behind #DeflateGate yet. What we do know is that the New England Patriots would have won with or without the use of deflated footballs. Come on, a 45-7 routing isn’t caused by air pressure.
Tom Brady said: (It’s) ridiculous. I think I’ve heard it all at this point. That’s the last of my worries. I don’t even respond to stuff like this.”
Of course, we’ll have to wait until the NFL finishes its investigation to find out of these accusations really are ridiculous. Sports Illustrated notes that if the Patriots really did intentionally deflate footballs during the AFC Championship game, the team could be fined or forced to give up draft picks.
