Emily – better known as Gianna Dior – dumped her former life and is now working as a porn star full time, earning roughly $941 per hour and amassing 400,000 Instagram followers.
Tinder isn’t just scoured by randy loners in their basements, it’s too scouted out by pornography agents – as Emily (a former student) discovered. She was working two part-time jobs and studying psychology when she joined Tinder in the hope of snagging a date or two. But, she soon matched a man who didn’t want to know if she desired going out for drinks; instead, he wanted to know if she would be down for doing porn. Originally the 21-year-old refused, however, her interest peaked and she ended up giving it a shot. Emily shared her tale on Generation Porn, Channel 4’s three-part documentary.
Narrating how it all commenced, the porn star stated: “I was going to school in Alabama, majoring in psychology and working two jobs – a receptionist at an eye doctor and a waiter at a sushi restaurant. I was on Tinder looking to go on dates, nothing crazy and then an agent from Miami found me on it and asked if I had ever considered doing porn. I told him no.” Though while Emily expressed she adored her new line of work and the life it has provided her, she confessed that it had come at the cost of her loved ones, who have not back her move to adult film; her dad in particular has begged her to stop and get back to her studies. Emily added: “I don’t care what anyone else thinks, my happiness is all that matters.”
