The Facebook For Families, 23snaps Adds Stories To News Feed

23snaps app

23snaps is a free social networking app for families that lets them build a private collection of photos, videos, and thoughts that the family can always cherish.

In its latest update, the app has added a new feature that lets users create better stories by collecting photos, video, and text then combining them in any order to tell the best family stories from beginning to end.

The stories which can’t be captured in a single image, can now be shared in their new multimedia story telling format.

The company observed that 20 percent of posts on 23snaps consists of multiple photos and 40 percent included in-depth descriptions. This compelled them to invent a new way for users to narrate stories.

Last year phone and video uploads had an engagement rate of 90% on individual posts, compared to 10% on Facebook.

Chief Marketing Officer of 23snap, Meaghan Fitzgerald says the new stories feature takes multimedia on their platform one step further by allowing parents who are great at telling stories to access and use limitless combinations of videos, photos, and text to share a narrative.

The app has surpassed 500,000 users in over 100 countries and is available on iOS, Android, and Windows phone.
