Seth Rogen: I Hope Kim Jong Un Likes ‘The Interview’

Move over Dennis Rodman, Kim Jong Un may have a new American best friend. Seth Rogen and James Franco recently filmed a movie about the Supreme Leader and Jong-Un is apparently really excited to see it.

Of course, Kim Jong Un probably isn’t going to like The Interview since the movie’s plot involves an assassination attempt on the North Korean leader.

Kim Myong-chol, executive director of The Centre for North Korea-US Peace, said that the movie showed how desperate America was becoming.

Myong-chol said: “There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society …. A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. And let us not forget who killed [President John F] Kennedy – Americans.”

Myong-chol added that Kim Jong Un would probably still see the movie despite the subject matter. But don’t expect the Supreme Leader to invite Franco and Rogen over for dinner anytime soon.

You can’t really blame Kim Jong Un for being a little upset about the movie. In addition to trying to assassinate Kim Jong Un in the movie, Franco and Rogen also mock the supreme leader’s many eccentricities… Apparently Kim Jong can speak to dolphins.

The Interview isn’t the first piece of media to mock the North Korean leader. Check out this ridiculous video game featuring Kim Jong Un, unicorns, and machine guns.
