Olympic Ring Glitch Mars Sochi Opening Ceremony

We already know that journalists are experiencing plenty of #SochiProblems at the 2014 Olympic Games. Well, it looks like the issues go far beyond dirty water and awkward toilets. Today’s opening ceremony featured an Olympic ring glitch.

The Opening Ceremony featured five large snowflakes that slowly transformed into the Olympic Rings. Well, they were supposed to. Instead we got four Olympic rings and one… well, I don’t know what that is.

But the Olympic glitch didn’t ruin the opening ceremony. There were still plenty of spectacles to enjoy and all of the athletes looked proud to by carrying their nation’s colors. Some people, however, believe that the technical error may foreshadow a bumpy two weeks in Sochi.

Russia’s anti-gay laws, as well as the first wave of #SochiProblems, has some people a little pessimistic about how smoothly things will run during the Olympic games.

Of course, others looked at that undeveloped snowflake and saw things like Bob Costas’ infected eye…

Or an unidentified corporate sponsor…

Or, of course, it may also be a prank by the LGBT community.

Needless to say, the Sochi Olympic Games aren’t off to the greatest start.
