The Obamas aren’t afraid to declare their love for each other on Valentine’s Day. The POTUS and FLOTUS tweeted to each other on Friday, each sharing a sweet photo of the couple together. The tweets came a few minutes apart, but Michelle Obama’s was first.
Hey Barack, I’ll always be your valentine! #HappyValentinesDay -mo pic.twitter.com/lEZdizGhSj

President Barack Obama responded to his wife, saying:
Here’s the truth: @MichelleObama is still the best Valentine. pic.twitter.com/Qx8T4Izxqs — Barack Obama (@BarackObama) February 14, 2014
While Michelle’s tweet was signed “-mo,” meaning she was the one who wrote it, her husband’s wasn’t — but that doesn’t mean the sentiment isn’t there. Obama has a busy Friday with House Democrats and a trip to Fresno, California, to meet with King Abdullah II of Jordan for dinner, notes the New York Daily News.
Considering his plans for work on Valentine’s Day, the first couple already celebrated the romantic holiday on February 8 by sharing a meal at Oyamel, a José Andrés restaurant in Washington, D.C.
This isn’t the first time Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have sent love notes to each other on Twitter. The president wrote for Valentine’s Day in 2012:
Hey, @MichelleObama: Happy Valentine’s Day. -bo
