Someone was certainly have a really good morning.
Walter Morris is a pretty chill guy. Working as a presenter on the Fox 5 news team, he’s had his share of early-riser on-site reporting segments. This time, however, he’s proving he got the the movies to make your mornings.

As soon as the newscast went on commercial break, Silentó’s “Watch Me” started playing on Morris’ earpiece, and when your jam comes on, you just gotta get down on it when you just gotta get down on it.
Pedestrians and motorists watched him whip, they watched him nae-nae. This news reporter was giving the camera life — and apparently, the rest of the studio staff over at Fox headquarters. Turns out while they may not be on air, they did make a point to keep the cameras rolling. They played the segment back to their morning viewers to give them something to dance about, too.
Morris’ groove quickly went viral, and his moves were viewed over 215,000 times on Facebook alone. Originally born in London, he considers Potomac, Maryland his hometown. When not behind a reporter’s mike, he can be found at the gym or enjoying a leisurely stroll on the beach. His iPod constantly cycles through Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Florence + The Machine, David Guetta, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Silentó’s hit single “Watch Me (Whip/Naenae)” was released April of this year, and rocketed up to the top of the charts, enjoying the third spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. Youtubers and Facebook users have also uploaded their own versions of the dance, spanning from teen groups to professional dancers, to adorable-mother-daughter couples. These dance videos have pretty much become viral themselves, with the Carbondale mommy-daughter duo garnering 20 million views on Facebook alone.
