Meet The Man Who Folds PERFECT Paper Airplanes (and How He Does It)

You wouldn’t think a grown man being really efficient at making and throwing paper airplanes would be worthwhile news, and neither would I had I not seen the video I am about to share with you. His name is John Collins, and if there is a paper plane Micheal Jordan, this guy is it.

Wired recently sat down (and stood up) with John to try to better figure out how he has mastered the aerodynamics of paper airplanes. And again, as trivial as it may sound, it is the sixth most popular video on YouTube RIGHT NOW, so I am by no means the only person somewhat entranced by this dude’s ability and skills, even if they are a little “different” than the skills most people would choose to master:

The craziest part is how easy he makes it seem to make a perfect paper airplane. Heck, I am gonna make one right now! I have a really good feeling about this.

Follow up, I did NOT make a perfect paper airplane unless perfect means wiggling a little in the air for one second and then taking a sharp dive into the ground immediately after.

Note to self:

This is NOT as easy as he makes it look.
