LinkedIn Revamps ‘Who’s Viewed Your Profile’ Section

LinkedIn Whos Viewed Your Profile Page

LinkedIn continues to upgrade the various user pages for its social network, this time focusing on the “Who’s Viewed Your Profile” section. In recent weeks the social business networks pages have seen updated for its iPhone app, user profiles, and even to its news site LinkedIn Today. Our favorite upgrade recently was the inclusion of LinkedIn Portfolio pages which offer user specific output.

The new Who’s Views Your Profile look features better analytics and a new look that users should enjoy. For example, the platform now tracks the number of times a users name appears via LinkedIn Search and how those searches have changed over time.

The Who’s Viewed Your Profile section is one of the most interacted sections for LinkedIn users which explains why the social network would place more focus on the feature. Users take advantage of the profile search feature to see who’s viewing them and to make new connections, discover mutual friends, and to gain insight into how well their LinkedIn profile is spreading across the web.

If you are a free LinkedIn profile user you still receive a recent list of people who have viewed your profile along with some basic analytics options located on the right side of the page.

Curious to know if potential employers are viewing your LinkedIn page but then jumping away without contacting you? This is the perfect option for checking out your pages ability to attract and keep an employer or business partners attention.
