The Biebs posted a video to his Facebook page, apologizing for his bad behavior.
“I didn’t want to come off arrogant or conceited, or basically how I’ve been acting the past year, year and a half,” Bieber confesses. “I’m not who I was pretending to be.”
In the video, Justin Bieber apologizes to fans for being arrogant and conceited. He confesses to pretending to be someone that he is not and is scared of what people truly think about him. As Justin talks about becoming a better person and no longer a person that doesn’t care about others. He also mentions that he is really just a big softie, which is what his mother raised him to be. The apology had been viewed more than 3 million times in just 14 hours. The video was uploaded after an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, which Justin surprised the talk show host for her birthday. He even brought her a gift that included Calvin Klein underwear, fitting after Biebs is the face of the underwear line. The two talked about Justin’s upcoming comedy roast, which will air March 7.
“I think it’s cool to laugh at yourself — I’ve done some things that might not have been the greatest,” Bieber said. “I just want to be able to laugh about it, and just kind of own up to some of these things.”
As news of Justin’s apology spread, fans took to social media to show their support of the singer’s recent revelation. The hashtag, #wedontjudgeyoujustin, quickly began trending on Twitter. Only time will tell if the pop star will stick to his newfound lifestyle.
