As the man behind one of the biggest social media outlets, Mark Zuckerberg has to take extra precautions to keep himself and his family safe. After all, with millions of Facebook users, some of them are bound to be crazy psychos… Zuckerberg’s Palo Alto, California 5-bedroom luxurious mansion has been updated with the latest security technology and a ton of bodyguards.
That’s right, 16 bodyguards patrol the Zuckerberg residence. The large number of security is Mark’s plan to protect his wife, Priscilla Chan and his new baby. With several curious people attempting to drive by constantly and obsessed Facebook users looking to talk to the CEO, the Zuckerberg family wanted to make sure they had enough muscle to fend off “threats from unstable Facebook users.” Mark’s colleagues say it is no surprise that he has employed so many security guards.
“You’re touching hundreds of millions of people,” an unnamed “insider” Silicon Valley source told Page Six. “All the CEOs get threats, and they take them very seriously.”

Not everyone is so supportive of Zuckerberg’s fleet of security. His neighbors claim that the extra men take up valuable parking spaces with their giant SUVs. As usual, Facebook legal experts quickly replied to the complaints.
“The security team’s cars are parked in accordance with local parking laws. The team strives to be sensitive to neighbors’ concerns and regrets any inconvenience.”
This isn’t the first time that the Facebook boss has taken drastic security measures. Back in 2013, he bought up four neighboring homes totaling up to $10 million. How’s that for security?
