Jim Parsons “Big Bang Theory” Actor Honored With Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

March 11 was a huge day for “The Big Bang Theory” actor Jim Parsons as he saw his own name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce proudly honored actor Jim Parsons with the 2,545th star located at 6533 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the historic Hudson Apartments.

His fellow actors and actresses were there to support Sheldon Cooper, aka Jim Parsons, on his success! His partner, Todd Spiewak, his mom, producer Chuck Lorre and co-stars Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Melissa Rauch, Kunal Nayyar, and Mayim Bialik.

Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies said, “Jim’s fans have been anxiously awaiting this well-deserved star ceremony and they will get a big bang out of seeing our recipient receiving this honor!”

Jim kept it short and sweet on Instagram, “Very special day. Truly honored. So happy to share it all with my mom and Todd and everyone from BBT.”

First aired in 2007, “The Big Bang Theory” paved the way for Jim Parsons stardom in Larry Kramer’s 2011 Broadway revival play “The Normal Heart” about the early days of AIDS. Parsons was the only actor to repeat his role three years later in the HBO drama.

Congrats, Jim Parsons!
