After a lengthy 2 weeks, all 12 soccer players and their coach have been successfully rescued from the inside of a flooded Thai cave.

As a a doctor (who treated the 13 stranded people after they were found last Monday) and three Thai Navy SEAL divers (who helped with the difficult and perilous rescue operation) have yet to emerge from the flooded cave complex — Hollywood producers are already eyeballing a new box office smash.

American film crews have reportedly traveled to the rescue site in Chiang Rai to start work on a feature film telling the narrative of the Wild Boars team, News.com.au reported.

While the last of the rescue team attempts to get out of the cave, two Hollywood producers are commencing a project telling the soccer team’s story. The managing partner of the Pure Flix film company, Michael Scott, told the AAP news agency that he sees the deluged cave saga “as a major Hollywood film with A-list stars.”

Scott and co-producer Adam Smith have reportedly been undertaken interviews around the rescue site, where more than 1,000 Thai personnel were joined by dozens of international specialists for the operation. The two hope to interview the Thai Navy Seal divers and their foreign counterparts, as well as the rescued soccer team players and their families.

After exclusive rights to the story are secured, Pure Flix plans to work with a screenwriter to bring the shivery fable to life.

The soccer team members, ranging in age from 11 to 16, and their coach, 25, set out to examine the Tham Luang Nang Non cave system on June 23, though they became trapped after heavy rains rapidly flooded passages. Divers at last located them on July 2, enabling emergency crews to send them supplies and food.
