Hilary Duff, the name alone makes people who grew up in the late 90’s reminisce of Lizzy McGuire and teen pop music.
Oh, the memories.
The Disney actress, turned singer/song-writer took to Reddit to publicize her newest album, “Breathe In, Breathe Out.” Just like the tons of other celebrities who have hosted their own sessions, Duff was simply there to get the word out about her album and latest single, “Spark.”
This particular AMA session was riddled with criticism from participants (not that other sessions aren’t). It seemed that the majority of the questions answered by Duff were from accounts created recently, which led many to speculate she was answered questions fed to her through her PR people. After looking through what questions she did answer, you can be the judge.
Of course, there is always the breakfast question. It always gets answered.
Don’t hold your breathe. The questions don’t get too crazy. She answered some questions about motherhood. In fact, the majority of her answers had something to do with her son, Luca. #momlife
Oh, just when things were getting interesting. Someone wants to hear Hilary Duff’s life advice. Of course, it’s life-changing advice.
Yep, never been heard before. Do what you love. So profound.
Surprisingly, Hilary answered some questions that weren’t about her son or album. Anyone remember the time she joined Tinder. Hey, it’s hard for a single lady these days.
Oh, but then it was back to the food. Sandwiches, seriously?
Another criticism fans had for Mrs. Duff was the fact that she only spent 30 minutes answering questions. Of course, there is an easy defense for that. She is a busy person with a full schedule. She probably doesn’t want to spend her free time answering mundane questions, like “What do you eat for breakfast?” Although, one fan had a pretty interesting conspiracy theory.
It actually sounds believable. If it is true. In fact, people were really upset with this AMA session.
We’re just going to say it. You let us down, Hilary Duff. But, at least you can always say you were the one Disney star that didn’t go crazy when you grew up. We’re looking at you Miley Cyrus…
Sincerely, 90’s kids everywhere.
