George Zimmerman Heroically Saved Some Family, And Twitter Just Can’t With This Story

George Zimmerman rescue

George Zimmerman heroically intervened to rescue a man from an overturned truck last week in Sanford, Florida, and Twitter is having a really tough time coping with this story.

Less than a week after his controversial acquittal in the Trayvon Martin case, Zimmerman emerged from obscurity (possibly wearing a bulletproof vest) to pull an individual from a truck that had rolled over at the intersection of Interstate 4 and Route 417 on Thursday.

This is the first time he has been seen in public.

By the time the pundits get hold of this story, lines will be drawn between conservative and liberal viewpoints, Stand Your Ground laws will be revisited again in new light (even though guns had nothing to do with this particular story), race will undoubtedly make a cameo, but really, no one will know in their heart what to make of all this.

Oh wait, Twitter already beat everyone to the punch on this one:

Well, at least he didn’t actually win the lottery.
