#DistractinglySexy is making waves on Twitter, all because of someone had to say women scientists had too many feels for the workspace.
Yesterday, Sir Tim Hunt, British biochemist, honorary professor at the University College London, and a 2001 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine, stepped down from his position due to an embarrassing comment. Attending the 2015 World Conference of Science Journalists in Seoul — which was sponsored by many of the most powerful and influential Korean women scientists and engineers, no less — he let loose two opinions that would later have him forfeit his career.

Oh dear.
The women of STEM aren’t even mad. Nope, not one bit. When a statement like this hits the cyberspace, what’s a girl in a lab to do? Take it to Twitter, of course.
One of the great-grandmamas of scientific research would not have approved.

In the ocean, no one can see you cry.
Best part of being a marine ecologist? No one can tell you're crying underH2O. Though wetsuits are #distractinglysexy pic.twitter.com/tX5cFmeFgm
