This Sunday, The Carolina Panthers will face off against the Denver Broncos for the much anticipated Super Bowl 50. Tickets for the big games sell for top dollar every year, so it’s safe to say most of us can only afford to watch from home. But, what happens when your team makes it to the Super Bowl and you happen to their super fan? Well, you start a GoFundMe account.

Greg “Catman” Good is the self-proclaimed No. 1 fan of the Carolina Panthers. He is a well-known face at Carolina home games. Decked out in a blue and black cape and blue hair, he has become a sort of celebrity at the stadium. As a season ticket holder, he is a staple at games. He was able to attend the 2004 Super Bowl (last time Carolina made it that far), but this year he found himself unable to afford the trip due to health issues. His niece knew how much the games meant to him, so she set up the GoFundMe account.

As of Thursday, the account had raised almost $10,000. This amount is plenty to cover travel expenses, hotel accomadations, food and of course, the game ticket.

Ironically, this isn’t the first time that his super fan persona earned him a free trip to the Super Bowl. Credit card giant, Visa named him Panthers’ biggest fan of the year back in 2004 and paid for him to attend Super Bowl 38.

Good is extremely grateful for everyone’s genourisity. He took to the GoFundMe account to explain how much be able to go to the game meant to him.

Even, GoFundMe was proud to announce that “Catman” would be able to make the trip.

“Greg ‘Catman’ Good is the embodiment of team spirit, and we’re so happy he will get to cheer on his favorite team this Sunday at the Super Bowl,” said Kelsea Little, the media director for GoFundMe. “He has brought so much joy to Panthers fans over the years by dressing up at the games, it’s no surprise that so many people would be eager to help get him to the big game and represent Panthers’ pride. The GoFundMe Team wishes him safe travels, and hope he has the best weekend ever.”

Super Bowl 50 kicks off on Sunday at 6:30 PM ET.
