Instagram Parody Shows Us Exactly What’s Wrong With Our Society

It’s kind of funny how we all make like professional photographers on Instagram, isn’t it?

Though the Chris Browns and Rihannas of the world act like they’re sooo deep and artistic on the popular photo sharing service, the truth is that many are simple egomaniacs and faux-tographers, who seem to think they’ve stumbled onto something no one else has and that most of us had to go to Photoshop for during the Jurassic Age of MySpace: Filters.

All kidding aside, we love Instagram, and if the capability to mass produce pseudo-artistic glamor shots is available, who wouldn’t use it? The guys over at College Humor, for one. For the most part, they are not impressed by Instagram’s users, and threw together this parody video of the photo sharing service, shining an embarrassingly frank light on exactly what we’re all doing wrong.

Oh, and if you get defensive over the video’s treatment of Instagram users, we can all probably agree that the Nickelback parody that plays over the clip is hilarity for all.
