Lamar Odom, former basketball great and wife of Khloe Kardashian has had a rocky road in the spotlight. Since retiring from basketball Odom has struggled with drugs and alcohol. He cemented his status as a household name when he married Khloe in 2009. Then in 2013 he was arrested for a DUI and in 2015 Khloe filed for a divorce. Later that same month Odom was found was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and was placed on life support. After the incident, in a brilliantly choreographed PR move, Khloe called off the divorce. Odom was also the most searched person on Google in all of 2015

Last month there were a number of reports and pictures that came out of Odom drinking at bars including one of him on Easter Sunday only hours before attending church with the Kardashians. Apparently he had promised his not-quite-estranged wife that he was finished with the boozing and had promised to go straight. It’s believed that Odom overdosed on a mixture of alcohol and herbal erectile dysfunction pills back in 2015 at the Love Ranch.

And in recent weeks there have been a few new developments in the life of the once great player. Khloe has filed for divorce for a second time and there are now rumors of a Lamar Odom intervention. TMZ reported that during the most recent intervention, those present noticed crack pipes, baggies, and other drug paraphernalia scattered throughout the house. Apparently before the most recent intervention his friends and family (or sort of family) was afraid that he was back on drugs because he was acting very strangely. Hollywood News reported that Khloe is seeking help from her sister’s husband Kanye West. And when Kanye West is the guy that they bring in to help you then you know you’ve hit the bottom.
