Buffett has only tweeted once so far but it was a helluva tweet. The billionaire’s short message has been retweeted 20,000 times and has earned him more than 120,000 followers.
Buffett is joining Twitter just a few days after his first social interview. The billionaire answered questions with the hashtag #FortuneBuffett earlier this week about women in business.
Buffett said: “Fellow males, get onboard. The closer that America comes to fully employing the talents of all its citizens, the greater its output of goods and services will be.”
The billionaire investor isn’t the only big name to join Twitter recently. President Bill Clinton recently joined the social network to promote the Clinton Foundation.
