Vine is a growing mobile video sharing service that recently hit over 40 million users, and according to top user Jerome Jarre, some users are earning anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 for each sponsored video.
This news came from Advertising Age who ran a story on Vine celebs, and their work with major brands.
Recently, best-selling author and social media expert Gary Vaynerchuck launched GrapeStory, an agency geared specifically towards talent on Vine.
Gary partnered with Jerome Jarre, and the agency currently has close to 30 popular users signed on.
GrapeStory helps connect users with brands, enabling them to monetize the video sharing service.
For a service that has only been around since January 2013, it is proving to be a potential goldmine.
Brandon Calvillo, a 19-year-old based out of California, had only around 10,000 followers in April. Now, just four months later, he has over 1 million followers, and has signed on with GrapeStory.
The agency helped him secure a 10 video deal with Virgin Mobile, and with just a few more deals, Brandon says he could see quitting his current job at GameStop.
Gary Vaynerchuk says he hasn’t seen anyone land a six-figure deal through Vine yet, but as the service continues to grow, so will opportunities to generate a full-time income.
