Before Twitter executives settled on a bright blue bird the company’s designers played around with various design possibilities.
Posted on design site Dribbble the photos are strange, rough and sometimes even manage to mimic nationalistic symbols of various countries.
One of our favorite is a handing giving the middle finger, although we aren’t sure how that would have played into sending a tweet.
According to Slate these logos were collected from “brown paper towels acquired from the Twitter rest rooms.”
