Twitter has celebrated the 10th anniversary of the movie “Mean Girls” with the hashtag #MeanGirls10thAnniversary trending on Twitter this morning.
The 2004 film directed by Mark Waters featured a not yet permanently trashed Lindsay Lohan, along with Rachel McAdams in her late 20s pretending to be a high school girl.
The movie was made on a budget of $17 million, and made $129 million at the box office worldwide.
Twitter users flooded the site with messages, including some suggesting that people should wear pink April 30th to mark the occasion.
