Trump Supporter Charged With Slapping Police Horse In Face (VIDEO)

Trump Supporter slaps horse

A protester outside a Kansas City Donald Trump rally was arrested for abuse of a police service animal.

According to the police report, the woman attacked an officer mounter on horseback who was attempting to control the crowd. Fox 2 Saint Louis reports:

“An officer mounted on horseback was involved in crowd control outside the Midland Theatre when protesters began moving into the street and blocking traffic, approaching officers on foot. After police verbally instructed the protesters back onto the sidewalk, the crowd continued moving forward and mounted officers moved into position to block the crowd.”

That’s when police say 29-year-old April J. Foster begun screaming in the horse’s face before hitting it hard across the face. Foster then retreated into the crowd and police were unable to apprehend her immediately.

According to The Kansas City Star, a photographer witnessed the incident. Police received a tip that eventually led them to Foster, who was charged with abuse of a police service animal. Her bond was set at $500 and she is scheduled to appear in court in May.

PETA Senior Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch released a statement after Foster’s arrest:

“All animals feel pain, stress and fear just like we do, and they deserve our respect and protection. Horses are highly sensitive prey animals, and this poor horse was without a doubt already under a tremendous amount of stress as a result of the chaos, the crowds, the deafening noise of the angry protesters, and more. PETA commends the person who called the tip line so that this woman’s apparent cruelty to this horse does not go unpunished.”
