How it works is questionable and speculations even point to Tinder’s height verification being an April Fools’ joke. However, it seems that the damage has already been done and one dude on Reddit proposed another feature for women in order to counterbalance the double standards of ladies who prefer men for their height, and that is the weight verification:
In case the post gets deleted, Reddit user u/mclovin1654 is calling for a Tinder feature that can somehow verify a female user’s weight. He claims, “Why the hell should guys show their height if women won’t show their weight… It annoys the living f*ck out of me that women aren’t held to the same societal standards regarding attraction that men are.”
