Whether you voted for President-elect Donald Trump or not, we must realize that he our next leader and commander-in-chief. If you say you love this country as much as you do, you have to respect the vote and the position of president. As much as might hurt, now is not the time for division. Let go of the anger and rage, and outlet that frustration into something productive. Now, that you have been reminded that while things may not go the way you want, the world will not end. America is a great country because of the citizens. The president is not God and everything is going to be alright.
Anyone feel better yet? You? How about you? We aren’t saying we are happy, we just know that everything is going to be OK. We can get through the next four years, I promise.
However you feel, the world is continued to turn and future president is looking toward his next career change. Trump has spoke with President Obama and making plans for his first 100 days.
His plans seem a bit extremely ambitious and controversial. In fact, this seems to be more than most presidents can do in an entire term. Throughout his campaign, he has promised to complete these tasks:
-Appoint judges “who will uphold the Constitution” and “defend the Second Amendment.
-“Build a wall on the southern border and restrict immigration “to give unemployed Americans an opportunity to fill good-paying jobs.”
-“Stand up to countries that cheat on trade, of which there are many” and crack down on companies “that send jobs overseas.”
-“Repeal and replace job-killing Obamacare — it is a disaster.
-“Lift federal restrictions on energy production.
Now that he has to think rational, these goals might change. We have already seen a much calmer side of Trump during his speech after being elected.
Whether you are moving to Canada or plan on staying here and supporting your country no matter what, it will be interesting to see what the Trump administration will do when their term begins.
