The ‘Always’ Campaign Redefines The Phrase “Like A Girl” [Video]

Always #LikeAGirl

A few days ago, Always uploaded a touching and thought provoking commercial asking viewers and even the people in the ad what it means to do something “like a girl.”

The feminine care product line, Always, is using a new digital and social media campaign with documentarian Lauren Greenfield and the ad agency Leo Burnett to redefine the phrase #LikeAGirl representing positivity, strength, and character.

The YouTube description says, “Using #LikeAGirl as an insult is a hard knock against any adolescent girl. And since the rest of puberty’s really no picnic either, it’s easy to see what a huge impact it can have on a girl’s self-confidence. We’re kicking off an epic battle to make sure that girls everywhere keep their confidence throughout puberty and beyond, and making a start by showing them that doing it #LikeAGirl is an awesome thing.”

Watch the video and be prepared for possible tears.. then smiles.
