Star Wars’ Kylo Ren Inspires Hilarious Tumblr Chronicling His ‘Teenage Years’

If you haven’t seen Star Wars: the Force Awakens yet, then shame on you. You probably don’t even need a spoiler alert, because well, you obviously don’t care… The film’s main villain, Kylo Ren turns out to be the rebellious son of Hans Solo and Princess (now, General) Leia. Also known by his birth name, Ben, we can only imagine the struggle that Hans and Leia went through raising this darkside-obsessed teenager. One Tumblr user has made this fictional struggle into hilarious GIFs using clips of actual Harrison Ford, Adam Driver and Carrie Fisher in other films. Together the collection is titled, “Modern Solo Adventures” and is the brainchild of Tumblr user, Mamalaz.

With more than 100,000 likes, Mamalaz’s page is getting quite the attention. The GIFs are hilarious and the material pretty much writes itself. Just think how difficult puberty would be if you were the son of the mixed up couple of Hans Solo and Princess Leia with an obsession with your villainous grandfather. It’s enough to make any kid turn to the darkside.
