If you’re reading this, chances are that you already know how important your social media images can be when building a brand. It’s the very first thing people look at when visiting your social networking sites — and we all know how important first impressions are.
AP, a design studio that focuses on graphic and interface design, recently launched its Social Media Image Maker for just that purpose — helping the technically impaired make awesome social media images for their social network websites.
The online tool allows visitors to import, resize, and edit profile images in an easy to use interface, and since Social Media Image Maker supports all of the major social networks you shouldn’t have a problem finding yours using the tool.
The average online user, unfortunately, isn’t very tech savvy, but with AP’s newest tool that no longer matters.
Social Media Image Maker is a completely free online service that supports over a dozen social networking sites, from Facebook and Twitter, to Pinterest, Tumblr, Linkedin, Google+, and Foursquare.
Get started by clicking on the site’s create button displayed underneath each page option, follow the on-screen instructions and you should be set to go.
Social Media Image Maker also has some pretty nifty image manipulation tools built in, a bit reminiscent of Instagram actually, that allow users to add sleek effects to the photos they upload.
There are a few minor issues with the social media image service:
- Images uploaded to the site aren’t retained, so you may need to upload the same image multiple times if you’re working with one image for several sites.
- Image editing options also can’t be jumped over as they’re blocked until you’ve selected the apply button.
Overall, AP’s Social Media Image Maker is an awesome tool. It makes creating clean and proportionately-sized images extremely easy. If you feel so inclined, go check it out and let us know what you think in the comments below.
