Today is the day that the federal government sits down and tries to figure out the ominous series of spending cuts known as the sequester, known popularly as Fiscal Cliff 2: Electric Boogaloo around our water cooler.
In honor of the government’s inability to solve problems that it has gotten itself into, and politicians who wait until the 11th hour to pretend to do their jobs for the media, Twitter has elected to have a bit of fun with the fed. The hashtag #SequesterMovieLines has been trending all morning showing that, if nothing else, higher taxes and arbitrary draconian cuts won’t have an overall effect on our collective sense of humor.
